Ocean City High Schooler Wins Congressional Art Competition
Ocean City High School student Valentina Asenov's artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — An Ocean City High School student came in first place in the Second Congressional District Art Competition.
Valentina Asenov's charcoal piece, titled "Nature Mort," will displayed at the United States Capitol Building for a year, Rep. Jeff Van Drew said.
Asenov has also been invited to a reception in Washington, DC later this month, Van Drew said.

The second place winner was Siera Ojeda of Millville High School and the third place winner was Abigail Kollmer from Buena Regional High School.
"I want to thank all those who participated in this year's competition," Van Drew said. "It was a great display of the talent we have in South Jersey."
