A Beesleys Point resident writes about how to act on the beach so everyone can have a good time.

To the Editor:

Some points of beach etiquette:

1. Personal Space - Do not sit directly in front , behind , or beside someone, Leave at least 10-15 feet of space.

2. Do not shake your towel out near people.

3. When applying spray sunblock move away from people sitting near you.

4. Do not feed the seagulls.

5. Turn down your radio - No one outside your group should be able to hear your music.

6. Properly secure your umbrellas and tents.

7. Do not run and kick up sand near people sitting on the beach.

8. Play games away from people.
