Ocean City Route 52 Inbound Lanes To Close Saturday
Drivers heading into Ocean City Saturday morning should use another route during the Trail of Two Cities 5K Race.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Drivers heading into Ocean City on Saturday morning will face a temporary traffic change at the Route 52 causeway.
The inbound lanes of the causeway, entering Ocean City at Ninth Street, will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, for the Trail of Two Cities 5K Race.
The closure applies only to traffic coming into Ocean City on Route 52 during that period. Drivers leaving Ocean City will still be able to use the outbound lanes of the Route 52 Causeway while the race is underway.

The schedule could change depending on conditions on the roadway. Police may adjust the scheduled closing hours depending on when the roadway is cleared of all race participants.
