Storms postponed the opening ceremonies of the Summer Games of Special Olympics New Jersey, which were scheduled for June 7 at The College of New Jersey's Lions Stadium.
But the torch-bearer — Ocean City's Dan Miller — was able to perform his ceremonial honor the next night at a Trenton Thunder game attended by Special Olympics athletes.
Miller jogged around the perimeter of the outfield and ignited the Special Olympics cauldron in a special ceremony at the game. See video of the event above.
