It is the second time in a month an employee with the Ocean City Public School District has taken home a prestigious award. Earlier this month, Amy Andersen was named the New Jersey Teacher of the Year.

The Superintendent of the Year Program recognizes exemplary superintendents for excellence and achievement in educational leadership. The selection of the Superintendent of the Year honor is based on a superintendent’s dedication to improving educational quality, ability to build effective employee relations, and commitment to public involvement in education.

Taylor was introduced during the New Jersey Association of School Administrators Executive Committee’s meeting at the annual fall workshop in Atlantic City on Wednesday. They were then acknowledged during the association’s general session later in the day. The workshop is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials and the New Jersey School Boards Association.
