OCTC Presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in August

The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company’s production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is coming next month.

The story of Joseph, his jealous brothers and one very colorful garment hits the stage at the Ocean City Tabernacle Aug. 12-14.

The musical stars NYC talents Jeff Wojcicki as Joseph and Erin Wasmund as the Narrator.

The adventure follows the Biblical story of Joseph, the favorite son of Jacob blessed with prophetic dreams, on his journey to Egypt after being sold into slavery by his brothers.

Audiences will experience a range of musical styles, from country-western to calypso and bubble-gum pop to rock 'n' roll.

The production includes the popular songs “Go, Go, Go Joseph” and “Any Dream Will Do,” performed by an all-star professional cast of performers.

This timeless tale of Joseph is filled with surprising humor for adults and dazzling delights for children.

OCTC’s Artistic Director Michael Hartman helms the production as director with Anne Vick serving as choreographer. Jonathan Kreamer leads the cast as music director and conductor for OCTC’s JOSEPH Pit Band.

Nicholas Lavella will bring his video/graphic talent to the show as projectionist and Todd Williams will shine as his lighting design takes center stage during this flashy and exciting musical.

This high-energy production will be presented at the Ocean City Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Avenue, Ocean City.
