OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City's newest business is officially open. Ashore Fit, an athleisure boutique, held a ribbon cutting on May 12.

Owned by local Brielle Pontelandolfo, the new store offers high-quality activewear and athleisure options for men and women of all ages, styles and sizes.

And it's for a good cause - 50 percent of proceeds from items with the store's logo on it goes to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to find a cure for Parkinson's disease, in honor of Pontelandolfo's grandfather.

The whole Pontelandolfo family was there Friday afternoon as the 28-year-old cut the ribbon. So was the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, welcoming her to Asbury Avenue.

Check out the photos above from the opening and inside the store. Or, visit it yourself at 1215 Asbury Ave. Read more about the store here.
