Planning Board Grants Preliminary Approval for New Hotel in Ocean City
The owner of the Impala Island Inn is looking to build a new hotel across the street from the Impala, according to the Ocean City Gazette.

The Ocean City Planning Board approved preliminary site approval for a new hotel across the street from the Impala Island Inn, the Ocean City Gazette reports.
Anthony J. Frank is proposing a 15-unit building with four stories, including a garage, and 46 parking spots. Frank also owns the Impala, according to the report.
It would be possible for two families to rent one suite, and would essentially serve as an “annex to the Impala,” according to the report.
