The Ocean City Police Department accomplished its mission on Saturday, June 4: cleaning its fleet of police vehicles.

But the fourth annual Department Car Wash also succeeded in meeting another goal: creating a little fun for full-time officers, seasonal officers and their children.

"It's a great opportunity for the officers to bring their children out for a morning of fun, while we still accomplish our goal of having our vehicles cleaned inside and out," Chief Chad Callahan said in a written statement.
