Popular Ocean City Pizzeria For Sale

OCEAN CITY, NJ — An iconic Ocean City pizzeria is for sale, but its current owners don't want the business to go anywhere.

A favorite of vacationers, Express Pizza & Subs is up for sale, according to local realtor Caroline Watts, who shared it on Facebook. But the business itself won't leave. The current owners want someone else to keep it going with the same recipes.

"Express Pizza & Subs has loyal customers that continue to frequent their business over decades," Watts wrote on Facebook. "Step in and keep it going!"

The sale comes with furniture, equipment and guidance from the existing owner, Watts said.

"Express will remain open. They do not plan to close. They will just be passing it to a new loving owner with same recipes," Watts said.

The spot has been beloved by Ocean City residents and visitors alike for more than 30 years.

The business can be purchased independently for $850K, or the fee-simple building can be purchased for $500K or rented for $3,500 a month. So if you're looking to take over an already-beloved spot, now's your chance.
