Recently Relocated Stores Open in Downtown Ocean City

Glazed Over and The Sneaker Shop are now open in the building that formerly housed The Cricket Box.

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrated the relocation of two businesses in the downtown on Friday, Oct. 10.

Official ribbon-cutting ceremonies were held for both Glazed Over Studios and The Sneaker Shop, located at 704 Asbury Avenue (formerly Cricket Box).

Both stores relocated from the 800 block to the 700 block following Super Storm Sandy.

The Cricket Box is now located in Stainton’s.

The building has been completely remodeled and split into two store fronts.

Glazed Over Studios is a Paint your own Pottery studio. It specializes in family fun, birthday parties for kids of all ages, fund-raising for schools and non-profits. The Sneaker Shop is a running specialty store. It specializes in running apparel and footwear, and offers a wide variety of sneakers to meet most customers needs. Their product line consists of Asics, Brooks, Saucony, New Balance, Nike, Spenco, Superfeet and they also special order Velcro walking shoes.
