School Officials Discuss Heightened Security at Ocean City High School

Ocean City Police spoke to staff members in the school district about how to increase security in the high school before the start of the school year, the Ocean City Gazette reports.

Police showed a video about acting quickly in a crisis and staff members learned about the two levels of lockdowns, according to the report.

School officials are discussing the possibility of adding a contained area just inside the main entrance of the high school, similar to what is found at the intermediate and primary schools.
