Sexual Assault Trial for Former Ocean City Cop Set for Nov. 2
A motion filed by Charles Cusack's attorney to have the trial dismissed has been denied.

The sexual assault trial of retired Ocean City Police Officer Charles Cusack begins Nov. 2, the Ocean City Gazette reports.
Cusack previously pleaded not guilty to to second-degree sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and official misconduct, and his lawyer filed a motion to have the trial dismissed on grounds that it was unusual to add such charges on the very eve of the trial.
That motion was denied, according to the report.
