Spring Block Party To Bring Philadelphia Music Legends To Ocean City
The Trammps, the Dovells and the Blue Notes will perform on the Music Pier during this year's Spring Block Party.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — The presence of legendary music icons extends beyond the Summer Concert Series in Ocean City this year. Philadelphia legends the Trammps, the Dovells, and Blue Notes will perform during this year’s Spring Block Party weekend, the city announced this week. The concert will take place on the Music Pier on Saturday, May 6, 7 p.m.
The Trammps are known for their hits “Disco Inferno” and “Hold Back the Night.” The Dovells performed “Bristol Stomp” and “You Can’t Sit Down,” while the Blue Notes’ catalogue includes “The Love I Lost” and “If You Don’t Know Me By Now.”
Tickets are $40, and proceeds benefit Ocean City’s Morvay-Miley Post 524 of the American Legion. They are available at oceancityvacation.com/boxoffice, by calling 609-399-6111, or in-person at the City Hall Welcome Center or the Roy Gillian Welcome Center on the Route 52 causeway.
