Teen Charged With 2 Ocean City Car Thefts, 65 Burglaries: Police

The 17-year-old was accused of burglaries that go back to July, according to police.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Police accused a teenager of stealing two vehicles and committing over 65 burglaries in Ocean City. The 17-year-old from Atlantic City is in Atlantic County's youth detention center, authorities announced Wednesday.

Most of the incidents, including both vehicle thefts, took place in the past week, police said. But some of the incidents went back to July. Both stolen vehicles were recovered. Ocean City police are currently notifying all theft and burglary victims.

The Ventnor City, Brigantine and Egg Harbor Township police departments helped Ocean City with the investigation.
