Patch asked what you thought was Ocean City's most romantic restaurant. Here's what you had to say:

OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's that time of year, and love is in the air. And what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than enjoying it at a local restaurant?

Patch reached out to readers on Facebook to find what the most romantic restaurant in town is, and got more than 100 responses.

And while some say you have to leave the island to find a romantic spot, others say that romance can be found in Ocean City.

Cousin's was a popular recommendation by many.

Plenty of waterfront restaurants got the thumbs up from Patch readers, like Ove's and Dockside Kitchen.

Emily's Ocean Room at Flanders was another common one.

"Sand House Kitchen," said Christina Maria Luciano. "What's more romantic than eating on the beach with the view of the ocean?"

But oftentimes, romance isn't a specific place. It's a state of mind.

"Romance is a feeling you take with you," said Cheryl Ann Ebling.

"You can make anything/anywhere romantic, in a quiet corner or alone on the boards," added Kathleen M. Sucharski.

And sometimes it's just what's special to you.

"Because my husband loves the blueberry pancakes at Uncle Bill’s, I have to go with Uncle Bill’s for a romantic breakfast," said Debra Schiavo Petrongolo.
