How can America's Happiest Seaside Resort be New Jersey's most boring town? MSN, which features trending news and content, gathered a list of "The Most Boring Town in Every State," giving Ocean City the non-honor in New Jersey.

The list, published Thursday, drew from U.S. Census and American Community Survey data. MSN examined which places have the highest median ages, the fewest things to do and the lowest population density.

"It's essential to note, however, that these towns aren't all boring in the same way; some scored higher because there’s very little to do there while other scored higher because there’s so few people to do anything with," MSN wrote.
