WATCH: Van Drew, Grossman Debate At Stockton

The Democratic and Republican candidates for Frank LoBiondo's Congressional Seat debated at Stockton. You can watch it here.

The two major party candidates who are running to fill the seat soon to be vacated by retiring Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-2) debated at Stockton University Wednesday evening. Patch carried the debate live and anyone who missed it can still watch it any time. (See video below).

Republican Seth Grossman, a former Atlantic City councilman and Atlantic County freeholder, and State Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1) debated in a forum at the Campus Center Theatre in the Stockton University campus in Galloway Township on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Michael W. Klein, executive director of the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton moderated. W. F. Keough, managing editor of The Press of Atlantic City, and Stockton political science professor Claire Abernathy posed questions to the candidates, on issues ranging from immigration to the environment, gun control and what must be done to get the younger generation to vote.

The public was offered the opportunity to submit questions for consideration prior to the debate, but was not permitted to ask questions. Audience members did heckle the candidates and reacted to answers they both enjoyed and didn't enjoy.

SNJ Today, the Millville-based media company, joined the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University and The Press of Atlantic City as cosponsors of the debate.
