Sahara Sam's, West Berlin

It's always summer in Sahara Sam's, making it a great place to visit when winter drags on a little too long. The 68,000-foot foot indoor and outdoor water park features year-round fun. A family wave pool, kiddie area, and high-speed water slides make it a fun place to visit for the entire family.

WinterFest at Cooper River Park, Pennsauken

Embrace winter by joining in the fun at WinterFest. The outdoor skating rink is big enough for the entire family to participate alongside friends. Skate rentals are available. For those who prefer to watch, regular ice skating shows are held. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy defrosting in a warming tent after skating.

Polar Bear Plunge, Sea City Isle, Brant Beach or Seaside Heights

Do some good while taking a plunge in the frigid Atlantic waters. Proceeds from the event benefit the Special Olympics New Jersey. Grab some friends, bring some warm towels, and run into the cold ocean to make some lasting memories.

Lambertville

A visit to the city provides a small-town feel with fine dining and art galleries. Though there is always something fun to do in Lambertville, the Winter Festival is the crowning event of the winter season. Pub crawls, pancake breakfast, paint nights, ice sculpting competitions, and parades are just a few of the events planned throughout the festival. Many of the festival events are free, making it a fun event for all ages that's also budget-friendly.
