Winter Storm In Ocean City? Kind Of A Dud
While parts of New Jersey experienced closings, early dismissals and plenty of accidents, Ocean City got the easy end of the storm.

The Ocean City Police Department's picture said it all. After an area winter weather advisory, a state of emergency from Gov. Phil Murphy and even a state ban on commercial traffic from highways, Ocean City got the easy end of Wednesday's snowstorm.
"WEATHER UPDATE The ground is wet," the OCPD posted Wednesday. The cheeky picture included a ruler on the concrete where all the snow already melted.
The forecast predicted 1 to 3 inches of snow, with high tide falling just below the National Weather Service threshold for minor flooding.

Members of the Ocean City, NJ Flooding Facebook group posted pictures of snowfall from their properties. Luckily for them, the pictures did not contain flooding, and the roads were clear of snow.

However, much of Ocean City got to enjoy the beautiful snowfall without many of the winter consequences.
