• N.J. man had child sex abuse material in his home, authorities say (nj.com subscription) — Authorities say a 58‑year‑old man was arrested at his Old Bridge home on June 12 and charged with multiple counts related to child sex abuse material and a peer‑to‑peer sharing network. Middlesex County prosecutors are continuing the investigation and asking anyone with information to contact Detective McGarry. The case originated from a tip shared between Monmouth and Middlesex County officials. 
• Old Bridge Man Sentenced to Prison in $6.7 Million Swindle (tapinto.net) — An Old Bridge resident has been sentenced to seven years in state prison for leading a multimillion‑dollar jet fuel investment fraud, according to state officials. Prosecutors say he created fake New Jersey companies, diverted investor money for luxury purchases, and now must pay restitution. Another man from Woodbridge, also charged in the scheme, still faces a pending case.
