• Bergen County School Locked Down To Check For Knife: Report (patch.com) — Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan briefly went into lockdown Friday morning after a report that a student might have a knife, but police quickly determined there was no weapon. The school, which serves Old Tappan and nearby towns, has experienced similar safety scares before, including an April lockdown over an air gun.
