15th Annual Independence Day Celebration & Declaration of Independence Reading at Ringwood Manor
Looking for something fun and educational to do with the family
on Independence Day this year? Come to Ringwood Manor for the annual
Declaration of Independence celebration!
The annual 4th of July event at Ringwood Manor features a
dramatic delivery and reading of the Declaration of Independence on the steps
of the Manor’s porch along with colonial activities and demonstrations to
celebrate the 238th anniversary of American independence. The Declaration will
be delivered and read at 2:30pm. Colonial reenactors, crafters, 18th century
dancing, food, games, and more will be available to the public. Free watermelon
for visitors! A fun event for the whole family!
There is no charge for the Independence Day celebration. There
is, however, a parking fee to enter Ringwood State Park of $5 for in-state
residents, and $7 for out-of-state residents. The event will take place rain or
shine. The newly conserved and reopened Ringwood Manor will be available to the
public to visit between 10am to 1pm only in order to allow for the ceremony and
celebration to proceed as scheduled. Tickets to enter Ringwood Manor are $3 for
adults, $1 for children ages 6-12, and children 5 and under are free.
