$35,000 In Drugs Seized From Paramus Man's Home: Prosecutor

6-and-half pounds of marijuana, 200 grams of cocaine, and steroids were found in the man's home Thursday, authorities said.

PARAMUS, NJ - Authorities seized cocaine, several pounds of marijuana, and nearly $14,000 from a borough man’s house Thursday, said Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.

Authorities searched Alex Autieri’s home Green Valley Home Thursday, the result of a police investigation that determined Autieri was distributing controlled dangerous substances, Grewal said.

There, they seized six-and-a-half pounds of marijuana, 200 grams of cocaine, various steroids, drug paraphernalia, including packaging materials, and nearly $14,000, Grewal said.

The seized drugs had a street value of about $35,000, authorities said.

Autieri, 27, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, Grewal said.

Municipal judge Louis J. Dinice set Autieri’s bail at $100,000 with no 10 percent option. Autieri was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.
