Paramus DPW Job Fair Set For September 26 (patch.com) — Paramus residents looking for steady work close to home can explore opportunities with the borough's Department of Public Works at a job fair on Saturday, September 26, at 1 Jockish Square. Attendees can meet staff from road, sewer, sanitation, recycling, buildings, grounds, mechanical and shade tree divisions, and learn how these teams keep Paramus services running, with registration available by phone or email.
   

2. 7 Brew Coffee Plans Drive-Thru Location on Route 4 in Paramus (wmtram.com) — A new 7 Brew Coffee drive-thru is proposed for 211 Route 4 East in Paramus, on the same property as iFLY Indoor Skydiving. If local officials approve the plan, drivers on the often-congested highway could soon grab coffee, energy drinks, teas, and smoothies without leaving their cars, adding another quick-stop option to the busy retail corridor.
   

3. Pearson Scores 2 More Goals As Union Catholic Boys Soccer Team Stays Unbeaten (tapinto.net) — A boys soccer matchup in Paramus saw Union Catholic defeat Paramus Catholic 4–2, handing the home team its fourth straight loss. Quincy Pearson scored twice in the first half, with Jayden King and Lucas Silva adding goals as the Vikings' potent attack and strong goalkeeping controlled play throughout the game.

Valley Health System Chief Academic Officer Named to 2026 NJBIZ Education Power List (tapinto.net) — Valley Health System in Paramus is celebrating Chief Academic Officer Dr. Reham Shaaban's inclusion on the 2026 NJBIZ Education Power List, spotlighting leaders shaping education statewide. Her work expanding Valley's residency and fellowship programs strengthens local medical training, research, and patient care, helping ensure Paramus-area residents benefit from highly trained physicians and an increasingly academic-focused community hospital.
   

5. Rubouts, and robots. AI meets the mob in new film shooting in NJ (northjersey.com) — A new indie mob comedy, "The Don 2.0," will film at locations across North and Central Jersey, with Paramus among the towns that inspired the project. Writer-director Alan Del Tufo once worked at a Paramus movie theater and even based a prior TV pilot on those experiences, helping launch this AI-meets-mob story now moving into production.
