1. 2 Women Arrested In $1,600 Lululemon Theft In Paramus, Police Say (patch.com) — Paramus shoppers and commuters saw a police chase Friday after two Brooklyn women allegedly stole more than $1,600 in Lululemon and Skims merchandise from Garden State Plaza and nearly struck a Paramus officer with their getaway car. The vehicle crashed near Oradell Animal Hospital, and both suspects were arrested on foot, with police recovering the stolen items and taking the women to Bergen County Jail.
2. North Jersey high school football schedule: Week 4 (northjersey.com) — Paramus football fans can circle two big matchups this week: Paramus travels to Passaic for a 6 p.m. kickoff, and Paramus Catholic hosts The Hun School at 7 p.m. The full North Jersey Week 4 schedule offers plenty of nearby games if you're up for a short drive to support local high school teams.
3. Bergen New Bridge, Ramapo College partner to bolster state's health care workforce (roi-nj.com) — Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus has formalized a new partnership with Ramapo College to expand clinical training and offer eligible employees a 25% tuition discount on advanced nursing degrees. The collaboration aims to strengthen New Jersey's health care workforce by giving Ramapo students more hands-on experience in Paramus while helping current nurses advance their education and careers.
