BCA Student Wins American Legion Oratorical Contest

Bergen County American Legion held its 2018 Oratorical Contest Sunday January 21^st at Rochelle Park American Legion Post 170. There were 9 participants with 1 from East Rutherford Post 67, 1 from Cliffside Park Post 126, and 7 from Leonia Post 1.

The winner of the contest was Simona Vigodner from Leonia Post 1 who attends Bergen County Academies and is in the 12^th grade. She will represent the county at the District 1 Contest to be held February 4^th at 10 AM at Rochelle Park American Legion Post 170, 33 W. Passaic St. 07662.

BCAL awards a $500 scholarship for 1^st Place, $300 for 2^nd Place and $200 for 3^rd Place. These will be awarded at the County Convention and Awards ceremony to be held May 19, 2018 at Rochelle Park American Legion Post 170.
