Bergen Applebee's Remain Open For Business

Doherty Enterprises announced "that the franchised Applebee's locations that we own and operate are 100 percent open for business."

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The county's Applebee's restaurants will remain open for business, despite news that DineEquity, the parent company of the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar would close anywhere between 105 and 135 of its restaurants.

There are Applebee's restaurants in Garfield, Hackensack, Paramus and Northvale.

"Doherty Enterprises wants to assure our valued guests and employees that the franchised Applebee’s locations that we own and operate are 100 percent open for business," the company released in a statement. "As an organization, Doherty Enterprises has a strong financial footing with a strategic plan that calls for continued new unit growth."
