Bergen Man Charged With Child Abuse
Jorge Reina-Gallo, 35, was arrested after a 9-year-old attended school with arm and neck injuries, authorities said.

A Bergen County man was arrested and charged with child abuse after authorities learned he attended school with injuries on his arm and neck, said Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
The state Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the prosecutor's office and advised that a 9-year-old boy went to his Hackensack school one day with injuries to his arm and neck, Grewal said.
The prosecutor's office's Special Victims Unit and the Hackensack Police Department investigated and charged Jorge Reina-Gallo, 35, with child abuse, the prosecutor said.

Reina-Gallo is scheduled to appear in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court Wednesday morning.
