Paramus Sports Authorities Start Going-Out-Of-Business Sale Thursday
Sale running until the end of August, court documents show.

PARAMUS, N.J. — The Sports Authority stores in the Paramus Park Mall and on Route 4 will start their going-out-of-business sales Thursday.
The company is advertising the fire sale of its remaining stock, bankruptcy documents filed in federal court Tuesday showed. The sale is approved to run through the end of August.
According to sales associates at the stores, the sales will begin Thursday. Sales at several other of the chain's 21 New Jersey locations, will also begin Thursday, including at the Clifton and Ramsey locations.

The once giant retailer had hoped to sell or close 140 of its locations while re-organizing using Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, but the company failed to find a buyer for the remaining stores and decided to close them all.
