Central Unitarian Church celebrates the Winter Solstice on December 20

Come to the Christmas week services at Bergen County's liberal religious community

Central Unitarian Church in Paramus, Bergen County’s liberal religious community, offers a variety of Christmas week services beginning on Sunday morning, December 20, at 10:30 with an all-ages Winter Solstice Celebration featuring stories, songs, and ritual.

On Thursday evening, December 24, everyone is invited to a traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service beginning at 7 o’clock with lessons and carols, featuring music by the church choir, soloists, and musicians. Children and families are welcome.

The Christmas week services conclude in a prayerful spirit with a Service of Forgiveness and Healing led by the Rev. Horst on Sunday morning, December 27, at 10:30.

Central Unitarian Church, a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, is located at 156 Forest Ave., about one-mile north of Route 4. Convenient parking is provided, and the building and grounds are wheelchair accessible.
