Central Unitarian Church offers religious education through Lifespan Faith Development

Introducing theme-based ministry, an approach to ministry that integrates a broad religious or moral theme each month.

Central Unitarian Church in Paramus offers multigenerational religious education through its program called Lifespan Faith Development. This year the church introduces theme-based ministry, an approach to congregation-wide programming and ministry that integrates a broad religious or moral theme into congregational life each month. Theme-based ministry engages participants in an overarching curriculum that connects children, youth, and adults in creative and meaningful ways. Employing the arts of storytelling, music, art, drama, and movement, theme-based ministry offers an innovative approach to religious learning and growth. The theme for September is “Invitation.”

Sunday morning music, worship, and lessons for children and youth begin on Sept. 20. About 90 children and youth are currently enrolled. Registration is required. Adult learning programs take place on Sunday afternoons and throughout the week. Contact Robin Slaw, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, for more information at 201-262-6300 or rslaw@cucparamus.org.
