Central Unitarian Church welcomes all to a Blessing of the Animals on October 11
Central Unitarian Church presents a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday morning, October 11, at 10:30

Central Unitarian Church, Bergen County’s liberal religious community, presents a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday morning, Oct. 11, at 10:30. The congregation welcomes all furry, feathery, finny, and slithery pets and their human companions to this community gathering. Dogs must be leashed and, if required, muzzled. Smaller animals should be carried in kennels or cages or held securely.
The blessing takes place in the courtyard at the rear of the church, adjacent to Van Saun County Park near Walden Pond. In the event of rain, the event moves into the sanctuary. David M. Horst, Minister; Robin Slaw, Director of Lifespan Faith Development; and members of the congregation lead the program. Donations are welcome.
Central Unitarian Church, a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, is located at 156 Forest Ave., Paramus, about one-mile north of Route 4. Convenient parking is provided, and the building and grounds are wheelchair accessible.
