Congressman Garrett To Speak At Bergen Car Dealership Tuesday

PARAMUS, N.J. — Congressman Scott Garrett will be at Paramus Chevrolet Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

Garrett will talk with people about issues facing businesses in New Jersey and discuss how he is trying to help them in Washington, D.C., Garrett's office said.

Garrett is facing his stiffest competition for re-election this year from Democrat Josh Gottheimer, a former Bill Clinton speechwriter from Wyckoff.

Gottheimer is raising funds at an impressive rate and has gone on the offensive against the 13-year congressman. Garrett's campaign has called Gottheimer's attacks "false" and "are nothing but a sloppy attempt to tell a story that simply isn't true."
