Dealers Caught With 1,000 Bags Of Heroin On Them: Prosecutor
Tony Crowe and Makia Reed were delivering heroin from Paterson into Bergen County towns, authorities said.

PARAMUS, NJ — Two Paterson men accused of delivering heroin to Bergen County were arrested Thursday after police caught them with about 1,000 bags of the drug, authorities said.
Tony Crowe, 24, and Makia Reed, 22, were arrested Thursday after an investigation by the Paramus Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
The prosecutor's office received information that Crowe was delivering heroin from Paterson into Bergen County towns, Grewal said.

Police conducted an undercover sting operation Thursday resulting in Crowe's and Reed's arrests; the men had about 1,000 bags of heroin on them, which they intended to distribute to an undercover police officer, Grewal said.
Crowe and Reed were each charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely heroin, in a quantity greater than a half ounce but less than five ounces, the prosecutor said.

Crowe and Reed were remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in county judicial processing court, Grewal said.
