East Brook Team Wins Recent Brain Busters Competition

Bergen Brain Busters recently held their first academic competition of the 2017-18 school year. Both West Brook and East Brook Middle Schools in Paramus sent students to compete against teams from Hillsdale and Leonia in the academic bowl. Eight teams comprised of four students each were asked challenging academic questions. East Brook Team 1 (Captain: Iris You, Alice Ko, Alyssa Gu, and Andrew Yuan) made it to the final round against Leonia Team 2. East Brook 1 took a quick lead and ended up winning the competition. East Brook Team 2 (Captain: Anthony Gonzalez, Jared Davis, Melissa Nanottar and Sophia Gilani) took fourth place overall.
