Ex-Paramus Catholic QB Says Assistant Coach Sucker Punched Him

Derick Suazo says assistant football coach Ed Tedesco gave him a concussion after he sucker punched him.

PARAMUS, NJ — A former Paramus Catholic quarterback said he would file charges against assistant football coach Ed Tedesco Wednesday after he said Tedesco punched him unconscious during an altercation Tuesday.

Derick Suazo, a backup quarterback for the Paladins who had graduated in June, said that he and other former teammates went to see the team compete in a scrimmage against Barringer Tuesday when Tedesco hit him, the NorthJersey.com report states.

Suazo said in the report that Tedesco approached the group he was in; then Suazo asked Tedesco about his tattoos and Tedesco sucker punched him, knocking him unconscious.
