Fairview Avenue To Be Repaved Beginning Monday

Parts of the roadway may be closed while work is being done, police said.

PARAMUS, NJ — Residents should prepare themselves for some traffic delays beginning next week when Farview Avenue is repaved.

The project will begin at 9 a.m. Monday and is expected to take two weeks to complete.

Work will begin at Farview Avenue at Midland Avenue and proceed south. Once at Passaic Street, work will go north.

There is a good chance Farview Avenue will be closed in both directions while work is done on a particular section, said Paramus Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg. Detours will be set up as needed.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and plan for extra time.

Paramus Police will provide updates on the project, including road closures, via Nixle alerts on the the department's Facebook page.
