Feeding The Birds Is Easy At Bergen County Zoo's New Exhibit
Guests can feed the birds using a stick with seeds at the end. The colorful birds will fly right to it.
PARAMUS, NJ — Now you can feed birds right in the palm of your hand at the Bergen County Zoo.
The exhibit opened Saturday. It features 350 Budgerigars, small, colorful birds that can be easily trained, in a 2,400-square-foot enclosure.
Guests can feed the birds using a stick with seeds at the end. The birds can fly and land on the stick, or someone's arm or hand, and eat the food.
