First Bergen County 'Pet Food Bank' Of Year Will Keep Pups, Kittens From Starving

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — People who struggle to make ends meet will often have trouble feeding their beloved pets as well. The Bergen County SPCA is here to help.

Their first Pet Food Bank of the year, organized in conjunction with the Bergen County Animal Shelter, will be held this Sunday.

People needing help can register using the link below, and those who want to donate can use a different link below.

The food bank is not only open to Bergen County residents, but is also available to those in nearby Harrison and Kearny, in Hudson County.

Besides food, the organizers may also give out some pet supplies.

Subsequent food banks will be held the second Sunday of each month.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and no apointment is needed. The shelter is located at 100 United Lane, Teterboro.
