Floor & Decor Leases Paramus Retail Space
The Sports Authority used to be located in the 62,000-square-foot space, one of the largest in Paramus.
PARAMUS, N.J. — Floor & Decor has leased a 62,000-square-foot location on Route 17.
The business is located where the Sports Authority used to be located at the entrance to the Paramus Park Mall, the Goldstein Group announced Tuesday.
“This was the largest retail space leased in Paramus and Bergen County this year,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group, the company that handled the transaction. “I am pleased to bring this great national tenant to Paramus.”

It is the third New Jersey location for the 16-year-old Georgia-based company. The company's first New Jersey location opened in Wayne last year in the former Costco location, which moved across the street. That store is 90,000 square feet. The third New Jersey location is in Morristown.
Sports Authority announced in May it was closing all of its 460 stores nationwide, a move that led to two large vacancies in Paramus. The other is in the Ikea shopping center at the intersection of routes 17 and 4.
