Five students from Visitation Academy in Paramus, participated for the first time in a Forensics Competition at All Saints Catholic Academy in Bayonne. Not knowing what to expect, our students took a HUGE leap of faith and outperformed their coaches’ expectations, performing original writings.
With only five members, our team performed remarkably well and placed 3rd in the competition (Most team had 30 or more students)! The team did an amazing job of making every round count to allow Visitation Academy this 3rd place placement.
Forensics club is a public speaking club. Students in grades 5-8 meet to practice pieces for fluency, articulation, enhancing communication, emotional involvement and overall presentation skills. Speeches must be between three and six minutes long. We are very proud of our team and thank our coaches, Mrs. Romain and Mrs. Letizia for giving our students this amazing opportunity.
