Former Paramus School Security Guard Sentenced To Five Years In State Prison For Sexually Assaulting Girl

Home Bishop, 41, was convicted of aggravated sexual assault. He forced a girl to have sexual encounters with him, authorities said.

A former security guard at Frisch Yeshiva High School in Paramus was sentenced to five years in a state facility for sex offenders.

Homer Bishop, 41, will serve five years of probation and be on Megan’s Law parole supervision for life upon his release, CliffviewPilot.com reported.

An investigation by the county Special Victim’s Unit revealed that Bishop had been forcing a Lodi girl, now in her 20s, to have sexual encounters”with him for more than a year, authorities said.

Bishop was originally charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

U.S. Marshals apprehended Bishop in Jamaica in February due to tips that were submitted to Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino’s office. He was on the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List until his capture.
