Former Woman's Club President Dies

Dorothy Grefrath, a former Paramus resident, died Monday. She was 89.

Grefrath was married to the late Warren Paul Grefrath for 46 years. She is survived by two sons she raised in Paramus: Richard and his wife Valentina, of Reno, Nev., and Peter and his wife Noeline, of Westwood.

Grefrath moved to Paramus in 1948. She joined the that year and served in many roles, including president.

Grefrath was also a member of the Friends of the , the Paramus Seniors, the AARP, the Mallwalkers and the Paramus Republican Club. She served as a secretary on the Paramus 75th Anniversary Services Committee.
