Frank Werner, Longtime Paramus Crossing Guard, Died Thursday
Werner, 84, was a Korean War veteran.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Frank Werner, a beloved crossing guard in Paramus for many years, died Thursday.
Werner, 84, worked as a machinist for Berlin and Jones in Rutherford before retiring.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was married to Theresia Frank (nee Petereder) for 62 years.
A funeral service will be at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Fairview Ave. in Paramus Monday at 10 a.m. Cremation will be private.
