High School Painters Make Mark on Mayor's Office

A pair of Paramus High School seniors, along with their teacher, are painting the mayor's wall.

Mayor Richard LaBarbiera asked art teacher Felicia Steele and her students Sadaf Azhher and Yekaterina Tsvetkhov to paint the high school's mascot, Sammy the Spartan, on his wall. Azher and Tsvetkhov are both members of the Art Honor Society.

Since the beginning of May, the students have been putting in about four hours a week after school. The painting was nearly complete Thursday.
