Joe's Takes Pride in Country and Comfort
Garden State Plaza restaurant offers American classics and weekend brunch
Everything about Joe’s American Bar & Grill at is American.
The menu, with logo in red, white and blue, features American classics like U.S.D.A. top select beef burgers, barbecue ribs, sirloin steak and seafood like the Maryland lump crab cake, North Atlantic cod and more.
Heck, the corporate office Back Bay Restaurant Group is even located in Boston, where Paul Revere embarked on his famous nightly ride. How much more American can you get?

“Our guests should always be comfortable," General Manager Jay Daly said. "Our staff can’t be. Being comfortable encompasses the food being to the liking of our guests. I think we try to offer our guests a good value so that there is a match between flavor, amount and price. On top of all that, the server has to be friendly.”
Joe’s American Bar & Grill is an open kitchen eatery helmed by Executive Chef Corey Sims. His workplace is a decent-sized establishment decorated in rich dark and light browns, with comfortable booths and tables throughout.

The bar area seats 40, with another 15 tables for dining surrounding the bar. The rest of the restaurant can accommodate 250, and often does during heavy shopping days at the mall. Joe’s also offers al fresco dining on its side patio facing the parking lot and Route 17.
Englewood’s Jen Sadowsky and Lauren Malaney of Saddle Brook were taking advantage of the gorgeous weather.
“I had the grilled honey chicken salad,” Malaney said. “I get it all the time. And their spinach & artichoke dip appetizer is the best dip ever.”
Sadowsky calls her chicken club sandwich, “Delicious.”
“It’s our most popular item,” Daly said of the grilled honey chicken salad. “I don’t know why, but people just love to order it. And our burgers are excellent, too”
A portion of the Paramus eatery can be closed to accommodate a party for 40 people, and very popular a la carte Sunday brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 pm.
