Juvenile Detention Center to Close Soon
Residents will move to Union County temporarily

NorthJersey.com reports that the Juvenile Detention Center in Paramus will close within two months.
County Administrator Ed Trawinski said plans to close the center are still awaiting approval from the state Juvenile Justice Commission. However, eight boys being detained there could be transfered to a Linden facility this week.
The Juvenile Detention Center has been in Paramus more than 30 years.
