Children can visit and be photographed with Santa beginning Friday, November 11 in the Level One common area between Smashburger and Villeroy & Boch.

The popular Pet Photo Nights return to the Simon Santa Photo Experience at The Shops at Riverside this year. Many pet owners view their pet as an integral member of the family and are just as committed in caring for their pets as their “human” family members. After Pet Photo Nights are hosted, the set gets an extensive cleaning to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. Pet Photo Nights at The Shops at Riverside will be on Monday, November 28 and Monday, December 12 from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Simon Santa Photo Experience is again sponsored by The Gymboree Corporation. The Gymboree Corporation is a specialty retailer operating stores selling high-quality apparel and accessories for children under the Gymboree, Gymboree Outlet, Janie and Jack, and Crazy 8 brands.

The 2016 Simon Santa Photo Experience and Pet Photo Nights are also sponsored by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment which is celebrating the highly-anticipated release of “The Secret Life of Pets,” available on Digital HD November 22 and on Blu-ray and DVD December 6. On Black Friday, there will be live music between 1 to 4p.m. in the luxury wing located on Level One. The Shops at Riverside will offer extended hours between Black Friday and Christmas Eve. On Black Friday weekend, the hours of operation will be 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by a week of regular mall hours. The mall is scheduled to be open on Monday, December 5 through Thursday, December 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10. Beginning Monday, December 12 through Wednesday, December 14, hours of operation are 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Thursday, December 15 through Friday, December 23, the mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Christmas Eve Saturday, December 24, The Shops at Riverside will have hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Guests to every Simon Photo Experience will have another opportunity to share Santa’s heart by making a donation via The Noerr Programs to Save the Children. For nearly 100 years, this non-profit has given underserved children in the U.S. a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. Since this program began five years ago, Noerr has collected over $1,000,000 largely due to the generosity of Simon shoppers.
