Man Found With Heroin Steals Car From Paramus Restaurant, Police Say
Nicholas Mazzola, 38, had 13 decks of heroin and 13 prescription pills on him, police said.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Police arrested a man with 13 decks of heroin on him who reportedly stole a woman's car and wallet, authorities said.
A woman who worked at the Bonefish Grill in Paramus reported shortly before 12:30 p.m. Friday that her 2005 Honda Civic had just been stolen from the parking lot, said Paramus Police Deputy Chief Robert M. Guidetti.
Officer Sean Nutland saw the vehicle on the southbound Garden State Parkway and stopped it, arresting the driver, Nicholas Mazzola, 38, of Spotswood, Guidetti said.

While in custody, police found 13 decks of heroin stamped "Pink Panther," 13 assorted pills, which he did not have a prescription for, the woman's wallet and several sets of keys, including belonging to the Marriott hotel's maintenance staff in Mazzola's possession, police said.
Mazzola was charged with two counts each of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Guidetti said.

Mazzola was released. He is due in court on the charges April 7, Guidetti said.
